Systems Administrator

Job Summary       

This position helps to maintain the internal and external systems used by Coe-Truman and its clients, as well as upgrading and improving them over time. This position will also work on our SaaS solutions as we push more of them into the cloud.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
• Certification: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred
• Ability to relay technical information to both technical and non technical personnel
• Strong written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving or troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience working with EC2, Azure, and Vmware, ideally with experience in migrating a legacy datacenter-based SaaS application.
• Hands-on experience working with EMC, and Lefthand preferred.
• Working knowledge of Cisco devices; routers, switches, and firewalls preferred.

Essential Duties

Build, Update, and Maintaining core systems essential to Coe-Truman’s business.

• Maintain current physical, and virtual systems.
• Build and configure new systems to take care of business needs.
• Production support which includes installing and configuring software in production environments.
• Updating and maintaining proper system monitors to track issues and speed up resolution times.
• Assist with migration of existing systems to a cloud infrastructure.
• Contributes to the development and execution of project goals, schedule, and resource planning.
• Responds to assignments, which include some degree of customer support and consulting on customer deployment related issues, including system software and hardware requirements. Work in the areas of product serviceability and networking is expected.
• Respond to internal staff’s issues with hardware and software.
